Hello All,

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays as much as I did. Also a happy New Year too. Goes fast, doesn't it?

I have seen several people out on the lake already enjoying the fishing. Try not to go swimming, it's a bit chilly this time of year…We got some early ice and snow cover so hopefully it will keep the weeds down.

I can see some momentum with people getting involved but we always need more. Thanks to Ron Anzalone and Pete Mannherz for keeping our parking lot clear of snow and also thanks to Bob Sturtevant for taking all that garbage to the dump. A little helping hand goes a long way. I am not so sure that 2008 is going to be a prosperous year, as we are still churning away at all the projects.

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is really working us over on the dam project and we need to redo some of the designs. The DEP has scheduled the draining of 18 lakes in NJ. So far we have avoided this list but it could be in the near future if we don't get in gear. This means showing up to meeting and participating in the community. After some time you will notice it is fun and rewarding.

We live in a lake community. Lets get together and become one.

Join us, just for fun.
